Regular Season Round 19: Brussels - Aalst 90-98

The most interesting game of round 19 was a derby match between two teams from Belgium. Tenth rankedOkapi Aalst won against host Circus Brussels (11-7) 98-90 . Aalst made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. Aalst outrebounded Brussels 31-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian forward Njegos Sikiras (205-1999, agency: PEPI SPORT) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Trey Tennyson (193-2001, college: TCU) contributed with 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Terry Deroover (178-1991) answered with 24 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and American guard Jalen Finch (185-1999, college: Georgia South) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Brussels. Five Aalst and four Brussels players scored in double figures. Circus Brussels' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Okapi Aalst have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place. Brussels at the other side keep the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Leuven and Leeuwarden.
